Text messages from Paint Pals

Paint Pals is estimating software that painting contractors use to prepare estimates, contracts and invoices. When your contractor shares one of those documents with you by text, the text comes from Paint Pals, sent by Paint Pals LLC from (970) 545-7292. Every message starts with “Paint Pals:” and names the painting company the document came from. We never send marketing or promotional texts.

Your painting contractor asks first

No number is texted without a recorded yes. Before the first text, your contractor asks you in person or on the phone, reading this script from the Paint Pals screen. The brackets hold the contractor's company name.

“Would you like to receive your estimate, contract and invoice from [Company name] by text? The texts come from Paint Pals, the estimating software we use, at (970) 545-7292, and each one names [Company name] as the source of the document. Message frequency varies, usually a few messages per project. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP at any time to cancel. Terms: https://app.paintpals.app/terms. Privacy: https://app.paintpals.app/privacy. Do you agree, yes or no?”

You can say no. Saying no changes nothing about the price or the work: you get the same documents by email instead. Agreeing to texts is not a condition of buying anything.

What happens after you say yes

  • Your answer is recorded. The contractor records it in Paint Pals on your contact record: your name and mobile number, the contractor who asked, the date and time, and that the consent was given verbally. Paint Pals LLC keeps that record and can provide it on request.
  • You get a confirmation text right away: “Paint Pals: You're opted in to receive project documents (estimates, contracts, invoices) from [Company Name] by text. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel, HELP for help.”
  • Then the document link arrives in its own message, and the other documents for your project follow the same way.

The messages you may receive

  • “Paint Pals: [Company Name] has sent you an estimate for [Project Name]. View it here: https://app.paintpals.app/p/[token]. Reply STOP to opt out.”
  • “Paint Pals: Your contract from [Company Name] is ready to review and sign: https://app.paintpals.app/c/[token]. Reply STOP to opt out.”
  • “Paint Pals: [Company Name] sent you an invoice for [Project Name]. View and pay online: https://app.paintpals.app/c/[token]/invoice. Reply STOP to opt out.”
  • “Paint Pals: Thanks, [First Name]. Your payment of [Amount] to [Company Name] was received. Receipt: https://app.paintpals.app/c/[token]/invoice. Reply STOP to opt out.”

There is only one way in

Verbal consent recorded by your contractor is the only way texts begin. There is no web form, no paper form, no QR code and no keyword to text to sign up. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Your privacy

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. The full details are in our privacy policy and terms of service.
